International Conference on Energy Systems

Dear All,

It is our great pleasure to make an open invitation for International Conference on Energy Systems. ICES 2026 will be held in Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul Turkiye, on May 3-6, 2026.

International Conference on Energy Systems is an international conference on energy technologies. The aim of this conference is to assemble international scientists, researchers, engineers, policymakers and others that focus on energy technology. There will be networking platforms to create catalytic discussions about the advances, developments, and challenges in different aspects of energy field. The conference will provide a platform for the dissemination of the state-of-the-art researches, technical interactions between participants, the presentation of the new development in the area of energy technology and the debate and shaping of future directions and priorities for energy technology.

Following the conference, selected papers will be published in International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (SCI-E, Scopus), International Journal of Exergy (SCI-E, Scopus), Energy Storage (ESCI, Scopus), Journal of Thermal Engineering (ESCI, Scopus), Sigma Journal of Engineering and Natural Sciences (ESCI, Scopus) and Journal of Eta Maritime Science (ESCI, Scopus) in their extended versions.

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Demir served as an Assistant Professor and Vice Dean in the Department of Business Administration at Kırklareli University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences from 2009 to 2015

  • Prof. Dr. Haitham Saad Mohamed Ramadan earned his PhD in Energy and Automatic Control from École Supérieure d'Électricité (SUPELEC), University of South Paris XI, in March 2012
  • In 2024, he was awarded the Professorship of Control by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research
  • His expertise covers multi-physical modeling of energy systems, renewable energy technologies (solar and wind), and hybrid power systems

  • He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering from Bahçeşehir University
  • He completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Istanbul Bilgi University
  • He obtained his PhD in Energy Technology from Ege University
  • He is currently continuing his research activities at Teksan Generator Company

HAKAN ACIKEL
TURKIYE
  • Hakan Acikel graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University in 1996
  • He is currently a co-founder of Uestco Energy Systems
  • His professional work focuses on specialized energy technologies, including LNG systems, gas mixers, lean gas systems, and gas sensors

  • Dr. Serdar Akça received his Bachelor’s degree and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2000 and 2014, respectively
